 1- Republic Day is celebrated on 26 January every year.

 2- It took 2 years, 11 months, 18 days to fully prepare the Indian Constitution.

 3-  Our Constitution came into force on year 1950.

 4- The Constituent Assembly was formed to prepare the Indian Constitution.

 5- Dr. Rajendra Prasad was elected as President of the Constituent Assembly.

 6- Dr. Bheemrao Ambedkar is called the constitution maker of India.

 7- A parade is held every year on January 26 at Rajpath, New Delhi.

 8- On this Day Cultural programs are organized in all schools in India.

 9- The flag of India is waved in all schools, colleges and government offices in India.

 10- On this day , All offices and workplaces in India are closed.
