Honorable Chief Guest Sir, Respected Principal, All the teachers, respected parents and my dear classmates, as you know that we are present today in the school premises to celebrate the 76th Independence Day of India, first of all, I wish you all a very happy day hearty congratulations.
Our India got independence from British rule on 15th August 1947, since then this day is celebrated as Independence Day, we are born in independent India, that is why we do not have any idea how the brave freedom fighters of our India gave their lives. Gave us freedom by offering sacrifices like Mangal Pandey, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Lokmanya Tilak, Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, Raajguru, Khudiram Bose, Lala Lajpat Rai etc.
Friends, in the beginning the British came to India for business and gradually looted a lot of money from our India and gradually took India under their control. In 1857, there was a revolt against the British rule in India from all around, Mahatma Gandhi made many movements against the British, in which Indians took part very enthusiastically. The brave soldiers of our India Bhagat Singh Sukhdev Rajguru Chandrashekhar Azad Khudiram Bose etc. stunned the British.
After many battles and movements, India got independence on 15th August 1947, in this war, many of our bravehearts and sacrificed their lives, because of these warriors, today we are waving our indian flag in the open sky on this holy day I pay homage to the brave sons of my India and respectfully salute.
