Preface

In today's time, among all the big problems, corruption is a very big problem. Corruption is spread in every corner of the country, and it is not possible for the poor to live. This is the time, when all of us should inculcate the spirit of India to move forward by eliminating corruption. India ranks 94th in the world in terms of corruption. To make India a developed and prosperous country, first of all we have to eradicate corruption completely.

Meaning of Corruption

Corruption is a situation when the employees and officials do not perform their duties properly but in arbitrary, late and improper manner. Corruption is the wrong act done against the society and the law for the benefit of direct or indirect benefit, which causes trouble to the people of the country. It is making India hollow inside, we have to end its roots so that India can be made a developed country.

Impact of Corruption on India

The negative effects of corruption are very frightening and scary. Corruption is like a big disease for any country which keeps hollowing the country from inside. The following are the consequences of corruption in India:
  • The standard of public works is getting worse, sometimes these works are done on paper but not in reality.
  • Persons having hard work and ability do not get the opportunity to contribute to the development of the country.
  • This leads to huge evasion in tax administration which generates black money.
  • Due to corruption in the police department, criminals get encouragement because of not taking action against the crime.
  • Corruption helps perpetuate poor education and health inequalities in backward societies.

How will India be corruption free and developed?

There should be a system of harsh punishment to stop the corruption spread in different levels in India. Otherwise, this disease will eat the whole country like a termite.
Before it is too late.
Let us smash corruption.
The citizens of the country have to develop honesty within themselves. If everyone unites and pledges not to bribe any officer or employee and takes some good measures to end corruption, then I feel that the citizens of India have the ability to end corruption. Along with this, there is also a need to stop the corruption happening from the internet. There should be periodic observation of all the employees and officers so that it can be known who is doing what work.

Conclusion

Corruption is the biggest attack on our moral values. People associated with corruption are defaming the country by being blind in their selfishness. It is our duty to join the war against corruption, because today corruption has become a problem not of any one country but of the whole world.
Be honest,
And say no to corruption.
