Good morning to all of you. I have appeared before all of you today with some thoughts regarding water conservation. But before starting this speech, I want to ask a question to all of you that any one of you has ever thought or imagined that these five elements created by nature on which all life depends are water, fire, air, sky and earth. If any element is removed from it, what will be its effect on human life?
Although we are all well aware of this, but still we ignore it. The speed at which we are bent on wasting drinking water to satisfy our small greed, it seems that soon human life will have to face its ill effects.
So by now you all must have understood that we are talking about water conservation. Now let's talk about what is water conservation? Saving water from being wasted and polluted is called water conservation. water conservation persuasive speech.
Let me now tell you people why water conservation is important? Friends, according to a survey, India ranks first among the 189 countries of the world which are going through severe water crisis.
According to NITI Aayog's report of 2018, 60 crore people of India are going through water crisis. On an average 200,000 people lose their lives every year due to lack of potable water. Looking at this figure, do you not think that this is a matter of concern for you people.
Let us know what can be done to conserve water. If we pay attention to the water we use in our homes, then we can save a lot of water. When we take a bath, we use a bucket and not a shower because using a shower wastes more water than we need.
At many places we see that in many places in our area water keeps flowing due to leakage and waste keeps happening, we ignore it. We should fix that leakage so that our drinking water is not wasted.
Friends, you will be surprised to know that 75% of the water of the RO you use in the house is wasted. If you do not believe, then you see that you have to waste four glasses of water to get one glass of water.
Even in the agricultural sector, we irrigate with the traditional irrigation system, if we irrigate with modern methods like drip irrigation and sprinklers, then a large amount of water can be saved from wasting.
